Grace Lutheran High School Athletics & Kenya Mission Trip 2025 & More

GLHS Mustangs compete in cross country invitationals in the fall and track in the spring. Track includes high jump and long jump, sprints, and relays. We also compete in soccer scrimmaging in the spring and at archery tournaments year-round.

Mustangs4Life is our Y4Life chapter through Lutherans For Life. The mission of Y4L is, “Equipping Lutherans and their neighbors to be Gospel-motivated voices For Life.”

KENYA MISSION Spring 2025

Grace Lutheran High School students are blessed to be going on a mission trip in Spring 2025! They will go work with Pastor May at Lutherans In Africa, led by Jason and Diana Stephens, who were missionaries there for 2 years. Their daughter is also a sophomore at GLHS. These girls have great hearts and are very excited about this opportunity to serve!

Woodworking

Pastor Ogrodowicz taught high school students the skills to use various saws, sanders, and tools to create wood picture frames, cutting boards, and other projects.

Home Economics/Cooking

Students learned cooking, baking, and sewing.

HOMECOMING

Students had a week long spirit week of Homecoming activities, including a powder puff football game against the school flag football team and coaches, and a dance!

PROM

Our prom “Under the Stars” was held at Green Meadows in Independence, and included several neighboring high schools. We all had a blast!
