Celebrating 75 Years of Christ-Centered Education

This year marks Grace Lutheran School’s 75th year of providing Christ-centered education to our community. To celebrate this tremendous milestone, Grace Lutheran School will be holding several events during the week of October 16th. All past and present students, parents, faculty, staff and church members are cordially invited to attend.
Grace Lutheran School’s Anniversary Celebration will kick-off with Mission Sunday on October 16th at Grace Lutheran Church. All past and present teachers, students, parents, faculty and staff are invited to join us for worship services at 9am followed by Sunday School and a covered dish luncheon.
Then on October 17th, at 2:30pm, the Grace Lutheran Mustangs will be holding a pep rally at the school
gymnasium. The pep rally will be a fun way to cheer for the girls volleyball team and boys flag football team. This will be the last games of the season. The volleyball game will begin at 3pm and the football game at 4pm. . The pep rally is open to the public and all past and present teachers, students, parents, faculty and staff are invited to join us.
The culmination of Grace Lutheran School’s 75th Anniversary Week will be the “Grace Lutheran School
Reunion Night” at Pioneer BBQ. Come enjoy great fellowship, food, drinks and possibly a few old stories with former classmates. Grace Lutheran PTL will get 10% of your food and drink purchases, so come hungry and stay a while. GLS Reunion Night is on October 20th and will begin at 6pm at Pioneer BBQ, located at 309 S Park St. in Brenham.

Grace Lutheran School was founded in 1947, by Grace Lutheran Church. It’s original location was on the Corner of West Mansfield and Church St., where the first school building and church can still be seen today. In 1984, a new church and school was built at the current location on West Jefferson Street, here in Brenham.
